Southsea Sound is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Depending on how you use the website or studio, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, band or client name, booking information, event ticket details, delivery address, enquiries and information relating to purchases or payments.
We do not store your full debit or credit card details. Online payments are processed securely by Stripe.
How we use it
Bookings, orders, tickets and enquiries.
We use your information to respond to enquiries; manage rehearsal and recording bookings; process Shop orders and Event tickets; send service-related emails; manage cancellations, refunds and rescheduled Events; and maintain appropriate customer, business and financial records.
We use information where it is needed to provide the service you requested, for legitimate business administration, and where we need to meet legal or record-keeping obligations.
Marketing
Joining the mailing list is optional.
We only add you to Southsea Sound marketing where you choose to sign up. Marketing consent is separate from making a booking, placing an order or buying a ticket.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop service emails that are needed for an active booking, order or ticket.
Who helps us run the service
We only share information where it is needed.
We use service providers to operate Southsea Sound, including our website host, Stripe for online payments, AWS SES for transactional email and FreeAgent for accounting. These providers receive information only where it is needed for the relevant service.
We do not sell customer information to advertisers or other businesses.
How long we keep it
Only for as long as we reasonably need it.
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and financial records, resolve queries and meet legal obligations. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or we otherwise determine that it should no longer be kept.
Your information
You can ask us about the information we hold.
You may have rights to ask for a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion in certain circumstances or object to some uses. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
